NA3HL Weekend Preview
The NA3HL opens up the first full weekend of play in November with 31 games on the schedule from Friday through Sunday.
One thing that has become apparent is the amount of parity that exists in the league this season. Just six teams remain undefeated and there is only one team still looking for their first win.
Just seven weeks remain until the 2021 NA3HL Showcase, which will take place at the Super Rink in Blaine, MN, from December 20-22.
All NA3HL teams will play three regular-season games at the Showcase, which is annually one of the most well-attended and scouted events of the entire season for the league, attracting college and junior scouts alike. The 2021 NA3HL Showcase schedule will be released on Wednesday, December 1st and will pair up evenly matched teams against one another based on the current standings and is also designed to have cross-divisional games with balanced competition.
All five remaining undefeated teams are in action this weekend. In the Central, the Rochester Grizzlies look to keep their perfect record intact as they host the 3rd place Wausau Cyclones. IN the East, the Northeast Generals put their 11-0 record on the line against Bay State on Friday. In the Frontier Division, the Gillette Wild face a good challenge as they take their 14-0 record on the road for two games in Bozeman, while the 13-0 Helena Bighorns host the Yellowstone Quake. In the South, the Texas Brahmas look to stay perfect with a pair of games against cross-town rival Mid Cities. The week got off to an early start with Long Beach, Oklahoma City and Mason City scoring wins on Thursday.
