Oregon and Long Beach pick up wins on Thursday

Sharks goalie Ryo Murakami stopped all 20 shots that came his way for his first career NA3HL shutout as Long Beach blanked New Jersey, 4-0.

Wausau 7 @ Milwaukee 4 – Sam VanderHoeven had a hat-trick and two assists to lead the Tradesmen to a 7-4 road win in Milwaukee on Thursday. Oregon scored three times in the 1st period to jump out to an early lead, which included goals from VanderHoeven, Abe Laggis, and Carter Stobb. Gunner Schiffman and Josh Christofferson added 2nd period goals and VanHoeven scored twice in the 3rd period. Milwaukee goals came from Dominic Martinetti, Cam Dahl, Easton Nik, and Mason Ausmus. Adian Wright made 38 saves in the win, while Austin Bartell and Cole Shane combined for 45 saves in the loss.

Long Beach 4 @ New Jersey 0 – Sharks goalie Ryo Murakami stopped all 20 shots that came his way for his first career NA3HL shutout as Long Beach blanked New Jersey, 4-0. The Sharks took a 1-0 lead in the 1st period thanks to a shorthanded goal from Dylan Harbour. The lead increased to 2-0 in the 2nd period as Spencer Dixon scored. In the 3rd period, Jack Fitzpatrick and Matt Carson added goals to make it a 4-0 final. Donovan Alfama took the loss in goal for the Titans, making 44 saves.
