Mason City forward Robertson gets call to NAHL
Luke Robertson wrapped up a big weekend with his North American Hockey League debut this past Saturday night for the North Iowa Bulls.
One night after scoring twice to lead the Mason City Toros to a 4-3 win over the Alexandria Blizzard on the road, Robertson returned to Mason City to suit up for North Iowa in its New Year’s Day tilt against the Austin Bruins.
Robertson becomes the fourth Toro to appear in a NAHL game this season, joining Carter Newpower, Jack Campion and Sota Isogai. Campion also suited up with the Bulls in their two games this past weekend.
Robertson has proven his depth by appearing on three different lines throughout the NA3HL season. He recorded nine points (4+5) in a 10-game stretch from Nov. 5 – Dec. 4 and recorded both of his multi-goal games in December. Robertson has seven goals and eight assists in 31 games with Mason City.
