Brahmas run win streak to nine with win on Tuesday

TX Brahmas 6 @ Mid Cities 3 – Keegan McArthur and Micah Maldonado each scored twice to lead the Brahmas to their 9th straight win with a 6-3 win over Mid Cities. McArthur and Maldonado each scored in the 1st period and Gion Coray also added a goal as the Brahmas opened up a 3-1 lead. Texas added three more goals in the 2nd period, which included the second of the game from both McArthur and Maldonado and another from Aleksandr Gamzatov to make it 6-1. Anfernee Machado scored all three goals in the Stars loss. Anthony Russo made 18 saves in the win, while Adler Hoagland made 54 saves in the loss.

Northeast 6 @ Norwich 2 - The Generals won their 20th straight game in a 6-2 win over Norwich. Six different players scored for the Generals, which included Nick Wracker in the 1st period, Braeden Kennedy and Nolan Murphy in the 2nd period, and Nathan Gilleshammer, Payton Felix, and Matthew Nuzzolilo in the 3rd period. The Sea Captains got goals from Troy Harwell and Teagen Beier. D’Mar McCoy made 30 saves in the win, while Andrew Yocum made 22 saves in the loss.

Alexandria 2 @ Willmar 7 – The WarHawks cruised to their 9th straight win as they beat the Blizzard on Tuesday, 7-2. Collin Kerchoff scored twice in the win for the WarHawks. Willmar jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the 1st period with goals from Kerchoff, Nickita Moiseev, and Jeremiah Konkel. Nolan Grier, Jake Hosszu, and Kerchoff added goals in the 2nd period and Patrick Wyers scored in the 3rd period. Sean Kenny and Charlie Larsen scored for the Blizzard in the loss. Cooper Olson made 22 saves in the win, while Bailey Rosch made 28 saves in the loss.

Danbury 3 @ New Jersey 1 – Lorenzo Rossi made 22 saves and Dylan Walker assisted on all three goals as the Jr. Hat Trick beat the Titans, 3-1. Danbury took a 1-0 lead in the 1st period with a goal from Ivan Kovalev. Elijah Devereaux added a goal in the 2nd period and Oleg Egorov scored in the 3rd period. New Jersey’s lone goal came late in the 3rd period from Jacob Renbarger. Titans goalie Colin Freitas made 30 saves in the loss.

TX RoadRunners 4 @ El Paso 3 (OT) – Derek Boutin had the overtime-winning goal and an assist to lead the RoadRunners to a 4-3 win in El Paso. The Rhinos scored first on a goal from Caden Butler. The RoadRunners then scored three straight goals from Gabe Stoner, Tim Marsico, and Tyler Love to take a 3-1 lead in the 3rd period. The Rhinos stormed back with goals late in the 3rd period from Blake Polifka and Matthew Gross to tie the game at 3-3. Boutin scored 1:31 into overtime. Hunter Hein made 40 saves in the win, while Camden Pendleton made 33 saves in the loss.
