NA3HL announces Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

November 8, 2022

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending November 6, 2022. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches. 

 

Central Division Star of the Week: Max Rotsaert, Forward, Oregon Tradesmen

Oregon Tradesmen forward Max Rotsaert earned the Central Division Star of the Week after his one game performance. Rotsaert accounted for 3 of the 5 goals the Tradesmen scored in their 5-2 win over the Milwaukee Power. So far this season, Rotsaert has played in 13 games and has tallied 12 points with 7 goals and 5 assists. 

2nd Star: Erik Hernborn, F, Rochester Grizzlies

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Ben Tschida, F, Rochester Grizzlies – Nathan Walker, F, Oregon Tradesmen


East Division Star of the Week: Braden Henderson, Goaltender, Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks

In his NA3HL Debut, Danbury netminder Braden Henderson did not let the moment get too big for himself as he earned a shutout. In a 2-0 win over the Bay State Bobcats, the Bowmanville, ONT native stopped all 33 shots he faced.

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Isaac Young, Forward, Gillette Wild

Wild forward, Isaac Young, earned this week's Frontier Star of the Week after his 2-game performance totaling 9 points. In a weekend series with the Sheridan Hawks, the Fergus Falls, MN native added a goal and four assists in the opening game. The following night, Young added another goal and handed out three assists. This season, Young has appeared in 14 games where he has totaled 31 points with 6 goals and 25 assists.

South Division Star of the Week: Evan Axell, Defenseman, New Mexico Ice Wolves

New Mexico Ice Wolves defenseman, Evan Axell put up huge numbers in the three games he played in over the weekend. The Plymouth, MN native added 3 goals and 7 assists to combine for 10 points in those three games. This season, Axell has played in 9 games where he has totaled 14 points with 5 goals and 9 assists. 

2nd Star: Jaden Stiller, F, New Mexico Ice Wolves

Honorable Mention (alphabetical): Alex Evanyk, F, Austin Ice Bats – Collin Lemanski, G, Austin Ice Bats


West Division Star of the Week: Hayden Johnson, Forward, Granite City Lumberjacks

Granite City forward Hayden Johnson totaled 4 points in the 2 games he played in over the weekend. In his first showing against the Minnesota Loons, the forward added two goals. In the second game of the weekend, Johnson added two more goals helping the Lumberjacks to back-to-back wins. The Little Falls, MN native has played in 13 games this year with 12 points. 

2nd Star: Connor Garcia, F, Willmar WarHawks
