B2 to broadcast Robertson Cup

The North American Hockey League announced today that all eight Robertson Cup Championship Tournament games will be video broadcast live over the Internet through B2 Networks.

The event, which crowns the NAHL’s playoff champion – USA Hockey’s Tier II Junior A national champion - will be held from April 30-May 4 at Hardee’s Iceplex in Chesterfield, Mo., home of the NAHL’s St. Louis Bandits.

The Robertson Cup Championship Tournament will be available for viewing by a worldwide audience through the NAHL’s Web sites, nahl.com and RobertsonCup.com.

Fans wanting to watch the event via B2 Networks will need a high-speed Internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player.

The oldest junior hockey trophy in the United States, the Robertson Cup is named in honor of Chuck Robertson, a pioneer of junior hockey in the NAHL and youth hockey in the state of Michigan. Chuck Robertson was the owner of the Paddock Pools Saints when they won a record seven straight NAHL championships from 1976-83.
