Twin City Steel 6 @ Breezy Point North Stars 3: The Twin City Steel scored three goals in the final frame to take the road win over the Breezy Point North Stars 6-3. Jace Childs finished the game with a hat trick including two of the three goals in the third period and Jerod Sabaska dished out four assists to lead the Steel to victory. Benji Smieja scored in the first five minutes of the first period to give the North Stars the early lead but it was quickly answered by the first of two Emil Blomqvist first period goals for the Steel. North Iowa Bulls 7 @ Minnesota Flying Aces 3: The North Iowa Bulls scored six straight goals after going down 2-1 in the first period to beat the Minnesota Flying Aces 7-3. Timothy Santopoalo dished out three assists and seven different North Iowa players scored a goal in the victory. The Flying Aces came out to a hot start in the first with scoring two goals in the first period but a North Iowa goal followed in the next minute. Minnesota goaltender Jaxson Gosnell made 29 saves in defeat. Boxscore

Wisconsin Whalers 4 @ Alexandria Blizzard 6: Joe Anderson scored two goals and an assist to lead the hometown Alexandria Blizzard 6-4 over the Wisconsin Whalers. Alexandria started strong in the first putting up three goals in the opening frame including a shorthanded marker from Ian Ecklund, assisted by Anderson. The second period was quiet until Anderson struck again shorthanded late in the second period. Chad Frost and Dan Addie both had good offensive games for the Whalers tallying 3 and 2 points, respectively. Boxscore

Sugar Land Imperials 7 @ Dallas Jr. Stars 1: Despite being outshot 32-29 by the Dallas Jr. Stars, the Sugar Land Imperials rode the great play of Colton Anderson to a 7-1 victory. Anderson was aided by big offensive nights from teammates Yves Bader and Tucker Spooner, who both had a goal and three assists during the game. The Imperials started strong with a three goal first with Bader and Spooner tallying a point on each goal.  The Jr. Stars finally broke through on their eight power play of the night when Ben Owen scored to break Andersons shout out bid with just over nine minutes to go in the third period. Toledo Cherokee 3 @ Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks 6: Tyler Stockwell and Jared Johnson both scored three points as the Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks defeated the Toledo Cherokee 6-3. The Jr. Lumberjacks converted on two of six power plays and used the man advantage to overpower the Cherokee. Kyler Omey assisted on two of the three Cherokee goals but the Cleveland offense was too much for Toledo as the Cherokee had to make a goalie change after the first period. Johnson added on to his hot scoring pace bringing his total to 18 points after just 11 games to begin the season. Boxscore
