Topeka, Peoria and St. Louis win on Sunday

Dallas Jr. Stars 2 @ Topeka Capitals 3: Topeka Capitals goaltender Jude Hull stopped 35 shots to lead the Capitals to a one-goal victory over the visiting Dallas Jr. Stars. The game started off with each team trading goals with the Capitals getting a goal 23 seconds into the game from Georgy Ostpachuck and Brandon Salisbury answering later in the period for the Jr. Stars. Jaydn Munnelly and Niko Greco picked up goals to start the third period for the Capitals to secure the victory despite a late Jr. Stars goal from Tommy Stock. Boxscore

Peoria Mustangs 7 @ Battle Creek Jr. Revolution 1: The Peoria Mustangs used seven unanswered goals to beat the Battle Creek Jr. Revolution increasing the Mustangs win streak to 14 games. Austin Hill got the Jr. Revolution of to a good start as they scored just over eight minutes into the game to give Battle Creek the early 1-0 lead. After the Hill goal it was all Peoria led by Nathan Chasteen, who dished out four assists in the victory. Chance Kremer stopped 23 shots in net for the Mustangs to pick up the win. Boxscore

Cincinnati Swords 2 @ St. Louis Jr. Blues 4: The St. Louis Jr. Blues used two third period goals to break a 2-2 tie and get the victory over the Cincinnati Swords 4-2. Evgeny Drozdetskiy picked up a goal 50 seconds into his first game of the season to give St. Louis an early lead. After a goal from Chris Brown the Jr. Blues took a two-goal lead into the locker room after the first period. Andrew Bond came up big in the middle frame for the Swords scoring both of their goals and tying the game up for a crucial third period. The game-winning goal came off the stick of Zane O’Bryan on the power play to give the Jr. Blues a 3-2 lead. A late goal from Tommy Heinzman gave the Jr. Blues the insurance goal they were looking for and secured the win. Boxscore
