NA3HL announces divisional alignment and events for 2018-19 season

April 17, 2018
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced its teams, divisional alignment and events for the 2018-19 season.  The 37-team league will be divided into six divisions (Central, Coastal, Frontier, Northeast, South, and West) and will include teams in 18 states, stretching from Montana to Maine.

The NA3HL will be entering its ninth season in 2018-19 and serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes in its classification. This past season, no other league has had more movement and advanced more players onto play in the NAHL than the NA3HL.

As one of only three Tier III junior hockey leagues that are certified by USA Hockey, the NA3HL is also the only league that has an exclusive NAHL tendering system available only to NA3HL players. This sets the stage for a proven and quantifiable NA3HL-NAHL pipeline with 60+ advancements annually. The NA3HL also had over 120+ college commitments in 2017, with the number still growing in 2018.

“We are excited about our 2018-19 line-up and teams, and we are all in for another exciting season with action-packed regular season games and highly-scouted league-wide events,” said NA3HL Commissioner Denny Scanlon. “In addition to the a great number of NCAA and college commitments, the flow of advancement to the NAHL and beyond is increasing and NAHL teams are getting NA3HL players who are ready to play at the next level and who are very well coached.”
