Wausau defenseman Harris makes college commitment

The Wausau RiverWolves of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Jake Harris has committed to play ACHA hockey for Illinois State University.
Harris, 21, played two seasons in the NA3HL, including the 2017-18 season with the RiverWolves. The 6’0/165 lbs. native of Chicago, Illinois, recorded five assists in 30 regular season games.
“We are excited for Jake on his commitment to Illinois State. As an organization we strive on player advancement and we are excited to see what the future holds for these young men who earn the opportunity like Jake has at the next level,” said RiverWolves head coach Tom Murphy.
During the 2016-17 season, Harris played for the Chicago Bulldogs, where he recorded three assists in 47 games played.
