November 5, 2018
The Northeast Generals of the NA3HL are proud to announce the advancement of forward Marc Faia to the NAHL’s Northeast Generals this past weekend.
Faia, 20, has been a standout this year for the Generals in the NA3HL, helping to lead them to a 13-3-1 record. He has 14 goals, 29 assists for 43 points, good for 3rd in NA3HL scoring. Faia (5’9/155) is in his 2nd year as a member of the Generals and is the fastest player in franchise history to 100 points (61 games).
He has been named the Coastal Division Star of the Week twice and was an honorable mention for Forward of the Month in September.
The Northeast Generals have a history of NA3HL advancement. They have had over 15 players with NA3HL experience suit up for their NAHL team. They have had 3 players with NA3HL experience commit to NCAA Division 1 schools directly from the Generals (Louis Boudon, Luke Perunovich and Kohei Sato).
“As an organization we have had a ton of success with the NA3HL. It has been a great development league for us in our first 3 years. Marc joins a long line of players that have advanced from within our own organization and we hope to have many more this season. Marc has worked tremendously hard and it is great to know that we have someone in our own building who is ready to step right in and play,” said Generals GM Bryan Erikson.
