Generals shutout Islanders in final game before break

Northeast Generals captain Marc Faia became the Generals all time leading scorer on Saturday. In his NA3HL career, he has recorded 134 points in 82 games.

Cape Cod 0 @ Northeast 11 – In the final NA3HL game before the Christmas break, the Northeast Generals exploded for 11 goals in an 11-0 shutout of the visiting Islanders on Saturday night. Captain Marc Faia had a four-point night and Deacon More and Koyle Bankauskas each had a hat-tick and an assist in the win. The Generals led 3-0 after one period, thanks to two goals from Faia and another from Jeffrey Sidoit. More scored his first of the game in the 2nd period and Sidoit added his second of the game and Thad Marcola also found the back of the net in a three-goal 2nd period to make it 6-0. More then went for two more goals in the 3rd period and Bankauskas scored his three goals in the final frame to make the final score, 11-0. Generals goalie John Driscoll made 18 saves in his 5th shutout of the season. Islanders goalie Josh Chausse made 34 saves in the loss. Boxscore
