Bozeman forward Canic playing in World Championships

The Bozeman Icedogs of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Dominic Canic is currently playing for his home country of Croatia at the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Division II, Group A.
 
The tournament, which is being held in Belgrade, Serbia, began on April 9th and runs through April 15th.
 
Canic, 19, just completed his first season of junior hockey in the United States playing with the Icedogs in the NA3HL. The 5’9/181 lbs. native of Zagreb, Croatia, was 2nd in team scoring this season for Bozeman, recording 83 points (19 goals, 64 assists) in 40 games played this season.
 
Canic was also selected to and played in the 2019 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the Frontier Division team, recording two points in three games. He also had three points in three playoff games.
 
So far through two games of the event, Croatia is 2-1 and in 2nd place in the standings.
