Breezy Point defenseman Wieber makes NCAA commitment

The Breezy Point North Stars of the NA3HL are proud to announce that defensemen Dan Wieber has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for St. John's University of the MIAC.
 
Wieber, 21, just completed his third and final season playing in the NA3HL for the North Stars. The 2018-19 was Wieber’s best in a North Stars uniform as he recorded 23 points (4 goals, 19 assists) in 39 games played.
 
The 6’2/190 lbs. native of St. Joseph, Minnesota, was also selected to and played in the 2019 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament, where he had four points in three games.
 
Overall in his three-year NA3HL career, Wieber played in 109 career games and recorded 48 points.
 
“We are very proud of Dan and we wish him all the best on the ice and in the classroom,” said Breezy Point head coach Mike Muller.
