Former Wisconsin defenseman Montague makes college commitment

The Wisconsin Whalers, formerly of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that defenseman Noah Montague has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Drexel University.
 
Montague, 20, just completed his second season playing in the NA3HL. The 6’4/205 lbs. native of Gurnee, Illinois, played in 68 career NA3HL games, which was spent between the Whalers and the Breezy Point North Stars.
 
During the 2018-19 season, Montague began the season with Breezy Point, but joined the Whalers after one game with the North Stars. While with the Whalers, he put up a career-high 12 points (1 goal, 11 assists) in 46 games played.
 
The season prior, he played in 21 games for the North Stars and had one point.
