Alexandria forward Curry makes college commitment

The Alexandria Blizzard of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Zach Curry has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Ohio University.

 

Curry, 21, just completed his final season of junior hockey in the NA3HL with the Blizzard. The 6’1/165 lbs. native of Olathe, Kansas, appeared in 40 games for the Blizzard during the 2018-19 regular season and recorded 15 points.

 

Curry began the season in the NAHL, appearing in two games for the Topeka Pilots.

 

Prior to playing for the Blizzard and Pilots this past season, Curry spent two years in the NA3HL with the then Rochester Ice Hawks, appearing in 47 games during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons and recording 22 points.

 

Overall during his three-year career in the NA3HL, Curry put up 37 points in 87 career games.
