Sunday's Box Scores

L/A 9 @ Skylands 1 - Joe Clark scored twice, Jason St. Pierre made 21 saves and the Nordiques torched the Kings in a 9-1 win on the road and keep their perfect record alive. Kyle O'Neill, Peyton Hughes, Bradley McMains, Sergei Anisimov, Bryce Leger, Daisuke Egusa and Sam Frechette also got in on the scoring for L/A, while Justin Hiler posted Skylands' single strike. Jacob King and Andrew Herms put up a combined 46 saves in the Kings' cage.

Danbury 8 @ Long Beach 1 - Zach Withington's massive five-goal effort pushed the Colonials to an 8-1 rout of the Sharks on Sunday. Shane O'Brien took the win in net, as Dylan Webber, Kolby Donovan and Brandon Cope capped off the Danbury scoring. Chris Wracker tallied Long Beach's lone goal as Timothy Brillaud suffered the loss in net.

TX Brahmas 4 @ Atlanta 3 - After a wild, five-goal first period, the Brahmas held off the Capitals for the majority of 40 minutes as they skated to a 4-3 win to stay unbeaten in the young season. Leevi Selanne netted the game-winner in the final frame, joining Findlay Wood, Andrue Trelstad and Dylan Smith on the Brahmas side of the scoresheet. The Capitals received a pair of goals from Gunner Moore, another from Joey Allegrini and 35 saves from Noah Ping in the loss. Kayden Hargraves stonewalled 22 pucks in the Texas win.

Peoria 2 @ St. Louis 3 - The Mustangs roared back in the third period to erase a 2-0 deficit, but Mike Deeba's dagger with 32 seconds remaining lifted the Blues to a 3-2 win on Sunday. Jacob Wiethaupt and Sean Hofstetter bagged the other St. Louis goals, while Jaycob Bland and Austin Kiel fueled Peoria's comeback. Trevor Smith took the win with 31 saves, outdueling Cole Walter of Peoria, who stopped 26.

NE Knights 0 @ Maine 2 - Tom Spero turned aside 35 shots to carry the Wild to their first win of the season, 2-0 over the Knights. Owen DuBois and Regan Wintle each lit the lamp in the win, as Steven Barry suffered the loss in the New England goal despite 40 saves.

Mid Cities 6 @ TX Roadrunners 3 - A 3-1 Roadrunners lead late in the second period quickly evaporated, as the Stars rattled off five unanswered strikes in the final 25 to ultimately snag a 6-3 road win on Sunday. Brady Nelson and RJ Muckensturm paced the comeback with a pair of goals apiece, with Muckensturm particularly impressing with three helpers as well for five total points. Hunter Leonhard and Zach Perez joined them on the Stars' scoresheet in front of Nahuel Veyan's 38 saves, while Blake Forystek put in an impressive, 45-save shift in the Roadrunners' crease.
