The St. Louis Jr. Blues, proud members of the NA3HL, are pleased to announce that forward Seamus Campbell was called up this past weekend by the Springfield Jr. Blues in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). Springfield plays in the NAHL’s Midwest Division.
Campbell, 17, is in his first season of playing junior hockey in the NA3HL with the Jr. Blues. In 18 games so far this season, the 6’1/185 lbs. native of St. Louis, Missouri, has 15 points (6 goals, 9 assists) and a +6 rating.
Campbell scored his first NAHL goal in his NAHL debut on Friday night, which was a 6-3 win for the Jr. Blues over the Janesville Jets.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL, Campbell played previously for the CarShield AAA 18U team of the NAPHL during the 2018-19 season. In 16 NAPHL games, Campbell recorded 11 points.
“Seamus has all the tools to be an impact player at the higher level,” said Jr. Blues head coach Chris Flaugher. “We hope his time with Springfield will help him really learn what it takes to succeed there, because we are confident he’s got the potential to make his mark in the NAHL.”
