Atlanta forward Johnson called up to play in the NAHL

The Atlanta Capitals of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Cole Thomas Johnson has been called up to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) to play for the Odessa Jackalopes of the NAHL’s South Division.
Johnson, 19, is in his third season of playing for the Capitals in the NA3HL. The 5’10/165 lbs. native of Dacua, Georgia, is currently leading the Capitals in scoring this season with 31 points (11 goals, 20 assists) in 22 games played for the 1st place Capitals.
Johnson has appeared in 109 career NA3HL regular season games since the 2017-18 season. In those 109 games, he has posted 106 career points, which includes 40 goals and 66 assists.
Johnson was selected to and played in the 2019 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament for the South Division team, where he recorded one goal in three games.
The past two weeks has seen over two dozen NA3HL players called up to play in the NAHL.
