NA3HL announces Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending December 29, 2019. The divisional stars of the week are awards given each week of the regular season to the top-performing players in each of the six divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Jacob Wiethaupt, F, St. Louis Jr. Blues
Wiethaupt ended 2019 on a roll, logging four points last week to make it five consecutive outings with a point for the Missouri native, dating back to the start of the NA3HL Showcase. After assisting once on the 21st, Wiethaupt bagged a goal of his own — his third in four games — and set up another two tallies for his second three-point outing in four games. Wiethaupt now boasts 18g-19a—37pts in 27 games this season.

West Division Star of the Week: Ryan Pogue, F, Granite City Lumberjacks
Pogue and the Lumberjacks hit the ice once more after the Showcase, taking a 4-1 win over the Steel on the 28th. Pogue starred in the victory, scoring the game-winning goal and logging an assist, and now boasts goals in back-to-back games. Pogue has now logged 12 points in 20 games this season.
