Grizzlies top Chill on Monday, 5-2

Michael Heitkamp led the Rochester Grizzlies to a 5-2 win on Monday with a goal and two assists.

Coulee Region 2 @ Rochester 5 – The Rochester Grizzlies increased their Central Division lead thanks to a 5-2 home win in the lone NA3HL game on Monday. After a scoreless 1^st period, the Grizzlies jumped ahead 2-0 in the 2^nd period with goals from Jesper Hofling and Porter Haney. The Chill were able to tie the game thanks to a goal late in the 2^nd period from Gadel Khismatullin and a goal early in the 3^rd period from Marco Escobar. The Grizzlies seized control of the game later in the 3^rd period, scoring three goals in the final nine minutes on tallies from Michael Heitkamp, Nic Leisen, and Devin Hays.
