L/A Nordiques 1 @ Elmira 5 – Elmira goalie Andrew Engel made 74 saves and John Kosa had two goals and an assist to lead the Elmira Jr. Soaring Eagles to a 5-1 win at home over the L/A Nordiques on Tuesday. The Nordiques jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a 1st period goal from Ben Cunningham. It was all Elmira after that as they seized control in the 2nd period with three goals to take a 3-1 lead, which included goals from Kosa, Liam Murphy, and Jayvon Fogelgren.
