Steel run winning streak to 10 straight

New Ulm 4 @ Alexandria 2 – The New Ulm Steel won their 10th straight game with a 4-2 win in Alexandria on Wednesday night. Jacob Halvorson scored twice and Igor Samokhvalov made 31 saves in the win. The Steel got off to a good start, jumping out to a 2-0 lead with 1st period goals from Jacob Zowin and Josh Baker. The Blizzard made a game of things as they cut the deficit to 2-1 with a 2nd period goal from Cole Jacobs. However, in the 3rd period, Halvorson scored twice to put the game out of reach.
