The New England Stars of the NA3HL are proud to announce that Top Prospects forward Connor Barter has committed to play NCAA Division II hockey for Post University.
Barter, 20, is currently in his third and final season playing with the Stars in the NA3HL. This season, the 5’9/175 lbs. forward from Lowell, Massachusetts, currently has 24 goals and 28 assists for 52 points in 43 games played.
Overall in his three-year NA3HL career, Barter has tallied a total of 69 goals and 62 assists for a total of 131 points in 128 career games, making him the New England Stars all-time goal-scoring leader.
Barter was also selected to and played in the 2019 and 2020 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournaments, where he has recorded four points in six games.
“Connor has become a much more complete player in his three years with us. He has always been a physical presence that can put the puck in the net. Over the past three seasons, he’s become very reliable defensively, he is more disciplined, and he kills penalties. Post is getting themselves a 200-foot player, a great teammate and a great person,” said Stars Head Coach Darryl Green.
Post University is an NCAA Division II University that competes in the Northeast-10 (NE10). The campus is located in Waterbury, CT, just outside of Hartford.
“I am extremely happy and excited to have the opportunity to play for Post University. I’d like to thank my family, friends, and coaches who have supported me and helped me achieve my goals of playing collegiate hockey,” said Barter.
