Americans take Game 1 on Wednesday over Hawks

Kellen Harris scored his third goal of the Fraser Cup Playoffs in a 4-2 Game 1 win on Wednesday.

Frontier Division Semi-Finals, Game 1: Sheridan 2 @ Great Falls 4 (Great Falls leads series, 1-0) – The #3-seeded Americans took down the #2 seed Hawks in Game 1 of the Frontier Division Semi-Finals by a 4-2 score. The Americans got off to a good start, jumping out to a 2-1 lead with 1st period goals from Bryson Fletcher and Jack Olson, while Logan Syrup answered for the Hawks. The lead increased to 3-1 in the 2nd period as Kellen Harris scored his 3rd goal of the Fraser Cup Playoffs. The Americans then went up 4-1 early in the 3rd period on a goal from Harley Nyhuis. The Hawks would get one goal back before the game was over as Alex Kesler scored. Americans goalie Viktor Wennberg made 24 saves in the win, while James Downie made 37 saves in the loss.
