Friday Finals: Wins by Butte, Helena balance out Frontier

Oklahoma City forward Artem Korolev had five goals and two assists in a win on Friday night and now sits 3rd in NA3HL scoring with 36 points.

Missoula Junior Bruins 2 @ Butte Cobras 4 - Butte took home the win with just a two goal lead. Missoula started off the game hot with the first two points. These pointes were earned by Spencer Warren and Bransen Nelson. Then Butte came from behind with one goal in the second and three goals in the third. Butte goals created by Nick Bradshaw, Jed Morone, and two by Kyler Garsjo. Tommy Near the goaltender of Butte saved 31 of the 33 shots on net. Maxim Currie goaltender of Missoula saved 33 of the 37 shots on net.

Helena Bighorns 2 @ Great Falls Americans 0 - Anthony Adleman the goaltender of the Bighorns had a shutout. The two Bighorn goals were scored by Bailey and Galloway. Trever Mellen the goaltender of the Americans saved 30 of the 31 shots on net.

Texas Brahmas 4 @ Atlanta Capitals 3 - Brahmas left tonight with a one goal lead over the Capitals. The final score is Brahmas 4 and Capitals 3. The Brahma goals were scored by Rothstein, Cooper, and two by Blanchard. The Capitals goals were scored by Cyprian, McClorey, and Pecheritcyn. Dolan Gilbert of the Brahmas saved 32 of 35 shots on net. Greg Smith of the Capitals saved 27 of 31 shots on net.

Mid Cities Jr. Stars 1 @ Oklahoma City Blazers 12 - Oklahoma City Blazers took home the win tonight with 12 points on the score board. Korolev of the Blazers walked away with 5 goals. Duren and Henslee of the Blazers each had two goals. The other three Blazers goals are from Miller, Larsen, And Wyers. The Jr. Stars goal is from Best. Jacob Ahl, the goaltender for the Blazers, saved 14 of 15 shots on net. Nahuel Veyan of the Jr. Stars saved 37 of 44 shots. Jr. Stars swapped out goalies for the third period. Sean Guerin of the Jr. Stars saved 9 of the 14 shots on net.

Oregon Tradesmen 2 @ Peoria Mustangs 4 - Peoria stared off the game with a goal by Lune. The Tradesmen dominated the second period with two goals by VanderHoeven and Sumner. The Mustangs took back the momentum in the third period with goals by Chesney, Bennett, and Murphy. Cole Walter the goaltender of the Mustangs saved 19 of the 21 shots on net. Cole Garver the goaltender of the Tradesmen saved 33 of the 36 shots on net.

Yellowstone Quake 1 @ Gillette Wild 2 - The Wild went home with at 2-1 win. The first period it was anyone’s game. Then in the second Newson of the Wild put in a goal. Stilson of the Wild put in a goal in the third period. Rumpke of the Quake put in the last goal of the night. Cole Wheaton the goaltender of the Wild saved 26 of the 27 shots on net. Matt Schoer the goaltender of the Quake saved 44 of the 46 shots on net.

Rochester Grizzlies 7 @ Milwaukee Power 0 - Shane Soderwall the goaltender of the Grizzlies had a shutout. Rochester Grizzlies goals were produced by: Kroyman, Schneider, Wilmes, Wright, Fodstad, Hart, and DeRosa. Power started the game with Cole Shane. Shane saved 9 of the 13 shots on net. Then following him up was Jackson Broussard with 7 of 10 saves.
