Bobcats stay hot with 5-1 win on Monday

Bobcats forward John Kosa has four points in his last three games, which included a goal on Monday.

Sharks 1 @ Bobcats 5 – The Bobcats won their 3rd straight game and moved into sole possession of 3rd place in the East Division thanks to a 5-1 win over the Sharks in the lone NA3HL game on Monday.

Landon Boothe, who had four points in the game, opening the scoring the 1st period for the Bobcats to make it 1-0.

In the 2nd period, the Bobcats exploded for four goals in a 14-minute span to put the game out of reach. Zakary Justice scored his team-leading 16th goal of the season to make it 2-0. John Kosa then scored on the power play to make it 3-0. Just two minutes later, Jacob Hall scored his 2nd goal of the season to make it a 4-0 contest and Jerzy Gus completed the scoring later in the period with his 4th goal of the season to make it 5-0.

The Sharks scored their lone goal early in the 3rd period as Aleksandr Gamzatov lit the lamp for the 12th time this season to make it a 5-1 final.

Bobcats goalie Zack Roncarati picked up his 4th win in his last five starts, making 32 saves in the win. Sharks goalie Greyson Skirpan made 40 saves in the loss.
