March 10, 2021

The Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Hanson O’Leary has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Concordia College in Minnesota.

O’Leary, 20, is in his first season of playing junior hockey in the NA3HL with the Lumberjacks. The 5’10/170 lbs. native of Roseau, MN, is currently 2nd in team scoring so far during the 2020-21 season with 22 points (8 goals, 14 assists) in 25 games played.

“I’m excited to announce I will be furthering my education and playing college hockey the next 4 years at Concordia in Minnesota, I want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way,” stated O’Leary on Twitter.

Prior to playing in the NA3HL, O’Leary had a four-year standout career playing high school hockey in Minnesota for Roseau High.

He is the third player from the 2020-21 Lumberjacks roster who has made an NCAA commitment so far this season.
