Peoria defenseman Peters makes college commitment

The Peoria Mustangs of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Keaton Peters has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for Northern Illinois University.
Peters, 20, just completed his second and final season of playing for Peoria in the NA3HL during the 2020-21 campaign. The 6’0/165 lbs. native of Moline, IL, recorded two points in 23 games played this past season.
During the 2019-20 season, he appeared in 32 games for the Mustangs and had three assists.
Prior to playing in the NA3HL, Peters played high school hockey in Iowa of for the Quad City Blues.
