Rochester stays unbeaten with win over Milwaukee

Rochester 4 @ Milwaukee 3 – Three 1st period goals propelled the Rochester Grizzlies to a 4-3 win on Monday night in NA3HL action. The win moved the Grizzlies into sole possession of 1st place in the Central Division with a 3-0 record.

The Grizzlies were quick to get on the board as 6:14 into the 1st period, Connor Mahoney scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-0. The Power briefly tied the game just over two minutes later as Mason Ausmus lit the lamp to make it 1-1. Just :21 seconds later, the Grizzlies went ahead for good as Kade Shea scored to make it 2-1. Kolton Kane would score for the Grizzlies later in the 1st period to make it 3-1.

Late in the 2nd period, the Grizzlies went up 4-1 on a goal from Max Breon.

The Power tried to comeback in the 3rd period with goals from Michael Dalaly and Nick Easton, but it would not be enough.

Zach Wiese picked up the win in goal, making 21 saves, while Spencer Northway took the loss with 33 saves.
