Northeast and Danbury win on Wednesday
Northeast 4 @ Bay State 1 - The Generals stayed perfect on the season, moving their record to 5-0 as four different players found the back of the net in a 4-1 win. Kameron Young started the scoring for the Generals in the 1st period, which was answer by Bay State’s lone goal from Troy Harwell to make it 1-1 after 20 minutes. Zach Sinople scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 2nd period on the power play and Cody Lambert and Matthew Nuzzolilo added goals in the 3rd period. Corey Hendrickson made 26 saves in the win, while Ben Di Fiore made 43 saves in the loss.
Danbury 7 @ Norwich 4 – Danbury forward Nick Rogers recorded a hat-trick as his club scored six goals in the 3rd period to defeat the Sea Captains, 7-4. Norwich looked like they had the game under control, leading 3-1 through two periods on goals from Drew Schemmel, Ethan Ranger, and Tim Hayden, while Rogers had the lone goal for Danbury. However, in the 3rd period, Danbury scored six goals in a 14-minute span, which included two more from Rogers and others from Oleg Egorov, Elijah Devereaux, Eryk Francher, and Daniel Khatib. Teagen Beier had the other goal for Norwich. Lorenzo Rossi made 38 saves in the win, while Brendan Pellerito made 26 saves in the loss.
