Oregon forward Nett signs NAHL tender

January 30, 2023

The Oregon Tradesmen of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Isaac Nett has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Janesville Jets of the NAHL’s Midwest Division.

Nett, 18, is in his first season of playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 6’1/187 lbs. native of Waunakee, WI, has appeared in 8 NA3HL games so far this season and recorded 14 points (5 goals, 9 assists).

Nett made his debut with the Tradesmen back on December 3rd, recording three assists in his first career game. A week later, he would make his NAHL debut with the Jets, picking up an assist in a 7-3 Jets win on December 11th.

He also took part in the 2022 NAHL Prospects Challenge in May of 2022, appearing in four games for the St. Cloud Norsemen 18U team and recording two goals.

Prior to playing junior hockey, Nett played youth hockey for the Selects Academy 18U team in 2021-22 and Team Wisconsin and Waunakee High School prior to that.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include two (2) tenders exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on November 1st. Tendered players are not eligible for the 2023 NAHL Draft.
