Granite City forward McPartland makes NCAA commitment

The Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that Top Prospects forward Jacob McPartland has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for St. John’s University.
McPartland, 19, is currently competing in his first season of junior hockey in the NA3HL. The 5’10/170 lbs. native of Victoria, MN, has played in 38 games for the Jacks. He’s produced 37 points in his time in Granite City.
He was one of five Jacks players to represent the organization at the 2023 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament earlier in February.
“Jacob has been great for us all year. He is such a smart hockey player. He plays a well round 200 ft game and that’s why he is a point per game guy for us. He just makes the guys who he plays with better because he does the right things and makes plays. He will be a great addition to SJU next season,” said Lumberjacks Co-Head Coach DJ Vold.
