Cleveland forward Barlow makes college commitment

The Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks, formerly of the NA3HL, have announced that forward John Barlow has committed to play college hockey in the ACHA for the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Barlow, 20, just completed his second season playing in the NA3HL for the Jr. Lumberjacks. The native of Shelby Township, Michigan, was the second leading scorer for Cleveland this past season. In 46 regular season games, Barlow (5’7/155) had 39 points, which included 17 goals and 22 assists.
During the 2013-14 season, Barlow had 12 points in 41 games played. In his two-year NA3HL career, Barlow played in 87 games and had 51 points. He also played in four playoff games.
He will join former Lumberjacks teammate Tyler Dalton at University of Michigan-Dearborn, which is an ACHA Division I school.
