Aviators open Showcase with win over Stars

New York 3 vs. New England 2 – The Aviators opened the NA3EHL Showcase with a come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Stars. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Jimmy Warrick secured the win for New York with a goal with less than a minute remaining in the third period. In a losing effort, New England was led by Brandon Hamner, who racked up two goals. Hamner scored the first of his two goals at 12:13 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Ryan Gauvin picked up the assist. Hamner's next tally made the score 2-1 New England with 1:16 left in the second period. New York was led by Warrick, who finished with one goal.
