January 9, 2018

The Yellowstone Quake of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that forward Ian Doner has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the Janesville Jets of the NAHL’s Midwest Division.
Doner, 18, is in his second season playing junior hockey in the NA3HL. The native of Mukilteo, Washington, is having a great season thus far and ranks 4th on the team in scoring with 53 points (28 goals, 25 assists) in just 32 games played for the 1st place Quake. His 28 goals ranks 6th overall in the NA3HL.
Doner (6’3/195) spent all of the 2016-17 season with the Quake in the NA3HL, where he had 30 points in 42 NA3HL regular season games and another four points in nine playoff games.
Overall in his NA3HL career, Doner has recorded 83 points in 75 career games.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include one tender exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 5, 2018.
