L/A Nordiques goalie Errico makes college commitment

The L/A Nordiques of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that goaltender Michael Errico has committed to play ACHA Division I hockey for nationally-ranked Lindenwood University.

 

Errico, 20, had his best career season in 2017-18 for the Nordiques. The 5’8/155 lbs. native of Schomberg, Ontario, posted a 15-5-2 record in 24 appearances, which included a career-best 2.04 goals against average and a 92.7% save percentage. He also played in three playoff games and posted a 2-0-1 record.

 

Errico also played for Lewiston/Auburn in the NA3HL during the 2016-17 season, where he posted a 7-9-1 record with a 4.07 goals against average and a 86.9% save percentage.

 

He is the third player from the 2017-18 Nordiques team who has made a college commitment this season.

 

“Mike had a great year for us which led to several college offers, so I am extremely excited for Mike and his family. Lindenwood University is getting a very good goaltender. Mike’s athleticism, compete level and focus will allow him to excel at the next level. I look forward to watching Mike compete at the collegiate level this fall,” said Nordiques Head Coach Cameron Robichaud.
