Rochester forward Hart signs NAHL tender
March 4, 2020

The Rochester Grizzlies of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Peyton Hart has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the Austin Bruins of the NAHL’s Central Division.
Hart, 18, is in his second season with the Grizzlies and was named team captain earlier this season. Last year, the 6’2/190 lbs. native of Delafield, Wisconsin tallied 36 points (14 goals, 22 assists) in 46 games played.
In 41 games played this season, the forward has already matched his goal total and has 24 points for a total of 38 points, good for fourth best on the team. Hart has also appeared in six games with the Bruins this season.
Hart is the second Grizzlies player to sign an NAHL tender for next season following goalie Sean Guerin who signed a tender with the Wichita Falls Warriors two weeks ago.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders, which include one tender exclusively used on players from the NA3HL - plus or minus any trades - which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft, which will be held on June 2, 2020.
