Missoula defenseman Frye makes college commitment

The Missoula Jr. Bruins of the NA3HL are pleased to announce that defenseman Connor Frye has committed to play ACHA Division 1 hockey for the University of Oklahoma.

 

Frye, 18, just completed his second season playing for the Jr. Bruins in the NA3HL. The 6’4/185 lbs. native of Mansfield, Texas, was remarkably consistent and productive in each of his two seasons. During the 2019-20 season, Frye posted 41 points (8 goals, 33 assists) in 47 games played.

 

Frye posted the same point total during the 2018-19 season with 41 points in 47 games played, which included 9 goals and 32 assists.

 

Frye was also selected to and played in the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Frontier Division and then later that season also represented the NA3HL at the 2019 NAHL 18U Top Prospects Tournament.
