Friday Finals: Win clinches playoff spot for 1st place Brahmas

Matti Tauriainen had two goals to lead the Jr. Hat Tricks to a 5-2 win on Friday.
Texas Brahmas 5 @ Oklahoma City Blazers 2 – The Brahmas became the second team in the South Division to clinch a Fraser Cup Playoff spot and move into a 1st place tie. Luke Busher of the Brahmas starts off the game with a goal. His teammate Leevi Selanne earns the second goal of the game. Gabe Shipper puts the Blazers on the scoreboard. Tyler Blanchard capitalizes on a scoring opportunity for the Brahmas. Artem Korolev of the Blazers finds his way to the back of the net. The Brahmas finished off the game with two goals from Luke Busher and Matej Palfy.
Springfield Jr. Hat Tricks 5 @ New England Sharks 2 - The Hat Tricks start off the game with two goals from Nick Cullinan and Kolby Donovan. Then the Sharks followed that up with two goals by Zan Mojzer and Enrico Bozac. The Hat Trick finished off the game with one more goal in the first and two goals in the third. Two of these goals were earned by Matti Tauriainen and one by Connor Lefkof.
Sheridan Hawks 5 @ Bozeman Icedogs 1 – The Hawks cruised to their 29th straight win. The Hawks dominate the first period with two goals earned by Blake Billings and Justin Schwartzmiller. Then the Icedogs snatch their first goal in the second period with the help of Justin Hayward. Justin Schwartzmiller of the Hawks follows that up with his second goal of the game. Blake Billing also snags his second goal of the game for the Hawks. Jonathan Teasdale of the Hawks finishes off the game by tucking the puck into the net. Christian Wong-Ramos, the goaltender of the Hawks, saved 24 of 25 shots on net. Brandon Keeney, the goaltender of the Icedogs, saved 32/36 shots on net.
Yellowstone Quake 3 @ Gillette Wild 4 - Brandon Kididis starts off the game with a goal for the Quake. Then the Wild find their momentum and put in three goals in a row. These goals are all earned by Caleb Sanborn; HAT TRICK. The Quake quickly regain their footing and try to fight their way back. Brandon Kididis of the Quake scores his second goal. Austin Lawless also puts one into the back of the net for the Quake. Cole Wheaton, the goaltender of the Wild, saved 26 of the 29 shots on net. Jarret Perino, the goaltender of the Quake, saved 26 of the 29 shots on net.
Granite City Lumberjacks 3 @ North Iowa Bulls 4 - Sota Isogai is hot out of the gates with a goal for the Bulls. Jack Campion of the Bulls puts the puck into the back of the net for a goal. Ben Anderson put the Lumberjacks on the scoreboard. Hanson O’Leary gets the second goal for the Lumberjacks. Cal Nauss capitalizes on a scoring opportunity for the Bulls. Hanson O’Leary finishes off the game with his second goal of the night for the Lumberjacks. Max Gutjahr, the goaltender of the Bulls, saved 23 of the 26 shots he faced. Bailey Huber, the goaltender of the Lumberjacks, saved 35 of the 38 shots on net.
Milwaukee Power 1 @ Peoria Mustangs 5 - Ben Cremers put the Power on the scoreboard early in the game. The Mustangs unleash with 5 back-to-back goals and two shutout periods. The five Mustangs goals were scored by: Ethan Chesney, Keaton Peters, Hubert Guzy, Quinton Murphy, and Thomas Kayner Chesney. The Mustangs’ goaltender, Andrew Doran, saved 18 of the 19 shots that he faced. The Power’s goaltender, Ewan Mcdevitt, saved 44 of the 49 shots he faced.
Wilmar WarHawks 0 @ Alexandria Blizzard 3 - Atticus Kelly earned himself a shutout tonight with a remarkable 53 saves. The Blizzard had three goals that were earned by Trent Sylvester, Austin McNeil, and Caleb Strong. The goaltender of the WarHawks Cooper Olson saved 29 of the 31 shots he faced.
Oregon Tradesmen 5 @ Rochester Grizzlies 8 - A high scoring match tonight. Joey Fodstad of the Grizzlies had the first goal of the night. Then the next two were from Carter Stobb and Devin Hays of the Tradesmen. The Grizzlies bounce back with two goals from Logan Kroymand and Blake Arneson. Carter Stobb of the Tradesmen puts his second on the scoreboard. Grizzlies tact on another two from Hunter Wilmes and Cody Reagle. Carter Stobb of the Tradesmen gets a hattrick! Garrett Smith puts up another goal for the Grizzlies. Carter Stobb puts his four goals on the scoresheet. The Grizzlies ended the game with two goals from Teppei Ueno and Cole Gibson.
Mid Cities Jr. Stars 2 @ Atlanta Capitals 5 - The Jr. Stars dominated the first period with two goals by Todd Thompson and Thomas Srsha. The Capitals dominate the second and the third period.
