Friday Finals: Power stay unbeaten with win over Lumberjacks

West Bend forward Teagan Scheurer had a goal and a shootout goal in a 3-2 win on Friday.

Granite City Lumberjacks 2 @ West Bend Power 3 (SO): The win goes to West Bend Power in a shootout. The first goal of the night was scored by Teagan Scheurer with West Bend Power making the score 1-0. In the second period Parker Mitchell scored for the Granite City Lumberjacks tying the score 1-1. In the third both teams scored for West Bend Power Carter Daul scored, and for Granite City Lumberjacks Jack Marske scored tying the score 2-2. Texas Brahmas 7 @ Austin Ice Bats 0: Texas Brahmas won with a 7-0 knock out. In the first Brentley Hennessey scored the first goal of the night for the Texas Brahmas making it 1-0. In the second Sam Bailey, and Chase Forry both scored making the score 3-0. And to wrap up the night Sam Bailey and Jake Malzone both scored, making the final score 5-0. Brendan Forden saved 16 shots for his shutout as well as Wyatt Bolling who saved both shots on goal for the win, while Bryson Frazee saved 49 shots as well as Ari Burnside who saved 3 shots in the loss.

Wisconsin Woodsmen 3 @ Peoria Mustangs 2: For a 3-2 win for the Wisconsin Woodsmen. First goal of the night scored by Hunter Nelson with the Wisconsin Woodsmen making the score 1-0. But in the second period the Peoria Mustangs came back with a goal of their own scored by Anden Marceau tying the score 1-1. In the third Wisconsin Woodsmen had two goals scored by Nicholas O’Brien, and Nolan- James Mix, and for the Peoria Mustangs scored one goal by Paul Allison making the final score 3-2. Dixon Ehlers saved 24 shots for the win, while Kason Yamada saved 38 shots in the loss.

Badlands Sabres 3 @ Great Falls Americans 4: The win goes to the Great Falls Americans with a one-point lead. In the period both teams scored one goal for the Badlands Sabres goal was scored by Brady Ridnour, and for Great Falls Americans was Dmitri Kuleshov making the score 1-1. Gillette Wild 1 @ Helena Bighorns 5: With a four point lead the win goes to Helena Bighorns. In the first period Ty Moore scored the first goal of the night for Helena Bighorns, making the score 1-0.
