January 18, 2024

Michael Locke had two points in the Generals win over New Hampshire

Danbury 0 @ New Jersey 5 - Avery Rovira-Hewitt stopped all 34 shots fired in his direction as the New Jersey Titans blanked the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks by a score of 5-0. Lucas Carney, George Hinds and Payton Fobes all scored in the opening 10 minutes to give the Titans an early lead. Maxim Marvin and Cameron Fanfa added goals in the final two periods to pad the lead. Hinds finished with a goal and two assists while Nicholas Trabb also was credited with two assists. Chris Panza took the loss in net as he made 38 saves.

Northeast 4 @ New Hampshire 2 - The Northeast Generals scored early and often as they cruised to a 4-2 win over the New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings. Sean Gorman and Michael Locke each found the back of the net in the opening minutes to give the Generals an early 2-0 lead. Gabe Vijuk and John Rodgers scored just 68 seconds apart to double the lead to 4-0 about midway through the action. Tia Kontrec got New Hampshire on the board late in the second and Leonardo Kahlhammer chipped in another goal to slice the deficit in half but that’s as close as New Hampshire would get. Daniel Antal scooped up the win in goal as he made 19 saves. Manny Pantow and AJ Cooper combined to make 46 stops for the Jr. Mountain Kings.
