Titans and Generals Earn Wins on Wednesday
Northeast 3 @ New Hampshire 2: Daniel Antal stood tall and finished with 25 saves as the Northeast Generals held off a late comeback from the New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings to earn a 3-2 on Wednesday afternoon. Northeast had a barrage of goals in the first period as they found the back of the net three times in just over five minutes of action. Caiden Hess opened the scoring with his 11th of the year. That was followed up by Ryan Solari putting home his fourth of the campaign. Then just 41 seconds later John Rodgers capped off the rally with his 14th goal of the season to put the Generals up by three. The second period belonged to New Hampshire as Tia Kontrec and Tyler Tsoukalas brought the Jr. Mountain Kings within one heading into the final period. Antal was perfect in the third period as he earned his 29th this season. Manny Pantow and Jake Agoglia combined to stop 23 of 26 shots.
Long Beach 3 @ New Jersey 5: Cameron Fanfa finished with a goal and two assists as the New Jersey Titans knocked off the Long Beach Sharks by a score of 5-3. George Hinds found the back of the net twice while Zach Gershner and William Fliss each got on the scoresheet as well for the Titans. Colton Kozma, Chris Keller and Sam O’Neil provide the offense for the Sharks in the loss. Avery Rovira-Hewitt was sensational in net for New Jersey as he made 42 saves to earn the win in goal. Colten McIntyre was stuck with the loss despite making 38 stops.
