NA3HL Announces Stars of the Week
The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) is pleased to announce the Divisional Stars of the Week for the week ending in November 25th. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Adam Prokop, Goaltender, West Bend Power
Adam Prokop and the West Bend Power had a phenomenal weekend as they completed a two game sweep over the first place Wausau Cyclones. During his first two games played with West Bend during the 2024-25 campaign, the Wausau, WI native was faced with 54 shots, only allowing one goal against for save percentages of 1.0 and .960. Despite having the best power play in the league, Prokop stood strong as Wausau went 1/11 on the man advantage over the course of the weekend, their only goal of the series being converted on the powerplay, a strong showing for the ‘04 netminder. With one shutout and another one goal game under his belt, Prokop has shown he will be a force to be reckoned with between the pipes for the remainder of the season for the Power.
“Adam had an unbelievable weekend. He stopped all the shots he should have and made a few special saves as well. He is a calming influence to our team for sure and we are glad to have him back in West Bend,” stated Power Head Coach Jason Woods.

East Division Star of the Week: Ethan Miller, Forward, Binghamton Buzz
Ethan Miller and the Binghamton Buzz had a great showing at the East Division Showcase, taking down the New Hampshire Mountain Kings 7-4. The Middletown, PA native led the way offensively for his squad, tallying his second hat trick of the season but his first natural hat trick of the year as all three goals came in the second period. In addition to netting three goals, Miller assisted the final goal of the game, finishing things off with a plus-minus of +5 on Sunday afternoon.
“Miller's first natural hat trick was nothing short of spectacular. With each goal, he showed his poise and determination, leading our team to a thrilling victory at the East Division showcase,” stated Buzz Head Coach Gaetano Moirano.

3rd Star: Harrison Ranger, Norwich Sea Captains
Frontier Division Star of the Week: Josh Serino , Forward, Sheridan Hawks
Josh Serino and the Sheridan Hawks completed a dominant weekend sweep over the Gillette Wild as the Barrow, AK native lit up the scoresheet with an impressive eight points in two games. As the leading scorer for Sheridan and the third overall leading scorer in the league, Serino had his first weekend with back to back hat tricks, his second consecutive weekend with a three goal performance. During Friday’s contest Serino opened up scoring for the Hawks in the first period and followed up by scoring a pair in the third, including the last tally of the game. On Saturday, he had a very similar showing, netting one goal in the first (the second of the game) and two additional goals in the third, the first and fourth goals for Sheridan during the final frame.
"Josh has been an exceptional player for us this in all situations," stated Hawks Head Coach JJ Santagata. "In big games he’s stepped up and has scored a lot of big time goals for us. He’s a great teammate and he’s done a great job leading this team thus far. We are excited to see him continue his success!"

South Division Star of the Week: Ashton Morin, Defense, Austin Ice Bats
Ashton Morin and the Austin Ice Bats picked up a pair of wins over their in-state rivals in the Texas RoadRunners as the second year defenseman inked his name numerous times on the scoresheet. The Subury, Ontario native scored two powerplay goals, both being the first goals of the contest on Friday and Saturday evening. In addition to his goal on the man advantage on Saturday, the ‘06 blueliner also dished out three assists to aid his team to victory, maintaining a plus-minus of +5. Now having 21 points in 17 games, Morin has surpassed his previous point total of 15 and has proved himself to be a high impact player for Austin.
“Ashton has established himself as one of the top two-way defenders in the NA3HL,” stated Ice Bats Head Coach Westin Michaud. “His continuous improvement and understanding of how his positive attitude and strong work ethic have shaped him make him a talented young prospect who is ready for an opportunity at the next level.”

West Division Star of the Week: Dylan Posch, Goaltender, Minnesota Moose
Dylan Posch and the Minnesota Moose have had an impressive end to the month of November, picking up two huge wins over the weekend against the Granite City Lumberjacks and Mason City Toros. During Friday’s tilt with the Lumberjacks, the Mount Prospect, IL native was faced with a total of 45 shots during regulation and overtime, turning away all but two. After a scoreless OT, things headed to a shootout where Posch stunned all three of Granite’s shooters to claim victory, maintaining a save percentage of .956. Posch followed up with another great performance between the pipes on Saturday as the Toros posted 30 shots, allowing two goals as the team came out victorious yet again in overtime.
“Dylan has endured a tough start with our team. has continued to work hard and keep his focus,” stated Moose Head Coach Todd Sanden. “This weekend, that was very apparent as the Moose won back to back games against tough opponents in Granite and Mason City making 71 of 75 saves. With this kind of production, he is sure to garner some college attention.”
