Buzz, Generals Win on Wednesday

Northeast 3 @ Norwich 2 - Three unanswered goals helped the Northeast Generals pull off the comeback against the Norwich Sea Captains on Wednesday afternoon. Glen Farmer and Jake Wilkerson had the Sea Captains up 2-0 very early in the contest but Aiden Anderson made it a one goal game midway through the frame. The score would remain at 2-1 until the final minutes of action as Brook Fegers tied the game with his seventh of the season with 2:03 left to play. Then it was Anderson scoring his second of the afternoon with just 46 seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Generals to the regulation win on the road. Jascha Grossenbacher was a perfect 42 for 42 in relief as he came in after just the first three minutes of action. Peter Alfano suffered the tough loss as he made 19 saves for Norwich.
Binghamton 7 @ New Jersey 0 - Brody Bess and Preston Peterson each scored a pair of goals as the Binghamton Buzz won their 17th in a row, topping New Jersey 7-0, Keegan Elliott, Griffin Gagnon and Carson Curry also got on the scoresheet for the Buzz in the big win. Matthew Ketcham stopped all 29 shots fired in his direction to earn the shutout in between the pipes. Nicholas Gould and Manny Pantow teamed up to stop 38 shots for the Titans.
