Hawks forward Serino makes NCAA Commitment

The Sheridan Hawks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Josh Serino has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for SUNY Fredonia in the SUNYAC.
Serino, 20, is playing his fourth season in the NA3HL and second second season with the Hawks, being awarded the title of Assistant Captain for the 2024-25 campaign. In 135 games to date, the Barrow, AK native has recorded 119 points, with this season standing out as his most impressive.
Not only is Serino the leading scorer for Sheridan, he also sits second overall in the NA3HL in scoring with a total of 80 points (39 goals, 41 assists) in 43 games. He has made a significant impact on special teams for the Hawks, recording 21 points on the power play (4 goals, 17 assists) and 8 points while shorthanded (6 goals, 2 assists).
Due to his outstanding performance this season, he was chosen to represent Sheridan at the 2025 Top Prospects Tournament, appearing on Team Blue’s roster.
Serino is one of three players to make a college commitment this season from the Hawks.
