Sharks Assistant Captain Long makes college commitment

The Long Beach Sharks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that Assistant Captain Ryan Long has committed to play college hockey for Siena College.
Long, 21, is a seasoned NA3HL blueliner with three years of experience in the league, skating with both the Louisiana Drillers and, more notably, the Long Beach Sharks, where he spent the bulk of his junior career. Across 105 games, the Brighton, MI native recorded 28 points, including 4 goals and 24 assists.
His 2024-25 season featured a standout performance in a hard-fought matchup against a top-tier Binghamton squad. In the tightly contested 4-3 battle, Long delivered a strong showing by notching two assists, playing a key role in keeping the Sharks within striking distance. Though the team fell just short, his performance underscored his ability to rise to the occasion against elite competition.
Long is one of three players to make a college commitment this season from the Sharks.
