Wilderness forward Davidson makes college commitment

The Minnesota Wilderness of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Simon Davidson has committed to play college hockey for Davenport University.
At 21 years old, Davidson wrapped up his junior hockey career in style, skating in 46 games with the Minnesota Wilderness of the NA3HL. Standing tall at 6’2”, the power forward made his presence felt in Eveleth, racking up 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) and finishing fourth on the team in goals scored.
His standout performance came on November 15th in a high-octane showdown against the Minnesota Moose. In a game that went down to the wire, Davidson delivered a jaw-dropping hat trick, capped off with the overtime game-winner, and added two assists for good measure, lifting the Wilderness to an electrifying 6-5 victory.
Davidson is the first player from the Wilderness to make a college commitment this season.
