Icedogs goaltender Weatherford makes college commitment

The Bozeman Icedogs of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender Isaac Weatherford has committed to play college hockey for the University of Montana.
Weatherford, 21, wrapped up his junior career playing under Head Coach Mike Perkins with the Bozeman Icedogs. Over two seasons, the Parkville, MO native appeared in 20 games, compiling a 6-3-1-1 record. His 2024-25 season was highlighted by a key 4-1 win over the Sheridan Hawks, an important victory in Frontier Division play. During that game, the 6’1” netminder stopped 29 of 30 shots and helped lead a dominant special teams effort, holding Sheridan scoreless on all five power play chances. By season’s end, the Hawks had finished with the third-best power play in the league, making the performance even more impressive.
Weatherford is one of four players to make a college commitment this season from the Icedogs and will join teammate Dan Upon on campus in the fall.
