Drillers goaltender Willson makes college commitment

The Louisiana Drillers of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender Finn Willson has committed to play college hockey for the University of Oregon.
Willson, 20, spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Louisiana Drillers, compiling a standout record of 15-2-2-1. He finished his junior career with a 1.83 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage. During the 2024-25 season, the Fairbanks, AK native tallied 12 wins, including four shutouts, tied for the second-most among all NA3HL goaltenders.
One of Willson’s most notable performances came on November 17 against the Texas RoadRunners. In a tightly contested game that went to overtime, he turned aside 25 of 26 shots, finishing the night with an impressive .962 save percentage and helping secure the win for Louisiana.
Willson is one of two players from the Drillers to make a college commitment this season.
